Motion-sensitive war workout video inside

It might sound melodramatic, but by the looks of this new trailer for Call of Duty 3 on Wii, the motion-sensitive war will leave you just as physically exhausted as if you'd actually fought through the Battle of the Bulge, while bayoneting half of Nazi Germany's men folk in the process.

Well, maybe it's not that demanding. But if you hit the movies tab above to watch the vid, you'll see Call of Duty expects plenty of mime-artist soldiering from you throughout its war torn battles - reloading, steering, wrestling with Fritz, rowing... although you probably don't have to pull the same 'dedicated' faces as the chap in this trailer.

Above: The video is interspersed with amusing clips of a man who's really, really living the Wii war experience

We've been surprised by how well Call of Duty 3 performs on Wii, with our recent playtest discovering it to be an accurate and enjoyable shooter. Whether it'll hold up to long-term, possibly exasperating sessions of play are another matter, but we'll be waving our Wii wands around and hosing down Hitler's menace in a review soon enough.
