Publisher THQ has told MCV of its delight following the success of its Wii sports title Big Beach Sports.
SM Writes: "If you're going to make a game for the Wii then it has to fulfill only a few basic requirements – it needs to be fun and it needs to be playable by all.
Vooks reports: "Big Beach Sports the multiplayer sports game which is exclusive to the Wii and features Cricket as well as Volleyball, Soccer, Disc Golf (frisbee golf), Bocce and American Football includes one feature that definitely hasn't been done before. The game will feature DS ¿ Wii connectivity. The game will allow you to use the Nintendo DS's touch screen to drawn on your games avatar. Anything on the face can be edited via the little bit of software which downloads to your DS."
THQ has today unveiled the key titles that will form the publisher's fiscal 2009 video game line-up. Scheduled for release in the 12-month period ending March 31, 2009 are a range of new editions to existing franchises, new original games and social and party titles.

THQ has today announced Big Beach Sports for the Wii. The exclusive game for Wii will bring a number of exciting outdoor sports to the console including American Football, Volleyball, Soccer, Disc Golf and Bocce and Beach Cricket. Yes Sports fans, you finally get a Cricket game on the Wii. Of course each game is played on the beach and "drops players into a seaside resort setting with a wide variety of compelling outdoor sports to play and master."
