AMF Bowling: Pinbusters!

This belongs in the gutter

The success of Wii Sports was always likely to spawn imitators but after numerous frames and tournaments with AMF Bowling: Pinbusters! we’re still left scratching our heads as to why this exists. It is, as a whole, considerably worse than what is one fifth of Wii Sports - in look, execution and enjoyment.

You’d think that having a game dedicated to the sport of ten-pin bowling would give plenty of opportunity for a decent career mode, unlockable lanes and characters. At the very least, scores of minigames. No such luck here. That you’re treated to the same ‘Game Over’ screen at the end of a tournament whether you win or lose is evidence enough that this is an epic failure. Start adding the appalling ball physics, offensively generic and stereotypical characters (who come with about three utterly infuriating lines of dialogue), no option for left-handed players and absolutely no content to encourage long-term play and you’re left with an utterly pointless, lazy excuse for a game.

Mud Duck should be paying me to "play" this "game"
Only positive, I received it as a "gift" (booby prize?) it cost me nothing
Here's a partial list of cons:
1) WII has WII people, I'm forced to use characters created by mud duck
2) I cannot start to bowl but must be ready when the character is ready
3) Can't see the alley as the character I'm bowling for is blocking view
4) I do not initiate the approach, mud duck does
5) I could not for the life of me select a second remote, no help at all that I could see
6) I could not setup for 2 players. There were 4 and I had to press skip many times to get back to me
7) There's no list of last played games that I can see
8) There's no average shown
9) A game dedicated to bowling only, should be super superior to WII bowling, AMF Bowling Pinbuster went backwards
10) AMF Bowling Pinbusters is a rip off
11) Extremely difficult to figure out how to use. VERY bad instructions. No realistic options.
12) I could go on and on and on
