That Gaming Site Writes: "Since it's release Alone in the Dark has received some pretty harsh criticism regarding the control scheme. Even we here at That Gaming Site admit the controls could use some work! Atari has taunted us with a patch that may never make it to the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game! Antoine Villette, founder of I Am Alive developer Darkworks, has told VG247 he believes Alone in the Dark can still be great, but only if Atari is prepared to make radical changes to its format.

Atari has issued a statement to Gamesindustry.biz about the recent reviews of Alone in the Dark. The company said that it's happy with UK reviews of AITD, but refused to comment when asked about the legal rumours that have started appearing on the web.
Alone in the Dark doesn't seem to be very popular among our Nordic brothers, as it now appears the Gamereactor Norway review wasn't just an ugly stain on an otherwise brilliant cloth.

Senior producer Nour Polloni explained that the PS3 version "is not performing as well on PS3" in terms of frame rate, but reassured PS3-owners that it's "not that far off".

The game also promises to keep players in suspense with a teaser video when players exit out of the game.
Atari and MILAN RECORDS recently announced the May 24, 2008 release of the soundtrack to the highly anticipated survival-horror game, Alone in the Dark. The score was composed by Olivier Deriviere and performed by, Grammy Award-winning choir The Mystery of Bulgarian Voices.
