Oh my god the latest episode of the GamesRadar UK Podcast is obscenely swollen with ultra-sexy game banter. Words coming from our moist mouth holes are all over topics like DayZ, inexplicable controller residue, the Steam Summer Sale, picking cabbages in Skyrim and much, much more. There's also an abundance of inexcusable nonsense including mass food production, medieval jazz, carpet salesmen and duck-sized horses. Conclusion: LISTEN TO IT.
We know. We've posted this before, but things have changed. Been updated. More games have been pushed back, more titles have official release dates, and more things have shifted around. We're upset, too. But seriously, you can stop acting like 2012's completely doomed. Even with so many big names down, we still have plenty to look forward to...
Every year, without fail, controversy arises as EA releases its player and team ratings for Madden NFL. Think Duke Nukem Forever was a long time coming? Or that the newly (sort of) announced Earthworm Jim 4 was trailing hard behind its predecessor? Forget them both. The physical act of gaming should not be difficult. The word 'game', by its very nature, implies fun, recreation, and a general lack of stress. But while many of us enjoy a fine old gaming time without care or worry, in some parts of the world gaming is rather a bastardly struggle. In some parts of the world, insane pricing, forgetful release schedules, and good old fashioned out-of-touch local attitudes towards adult game content make it a nightmare.
These are those places. Show them your solidarity.
