Wii Mini redesign rumoured for December

Nintendo may be about to announce a new redesigned Wii, according to a rumour on NintendoWorldReport. The article claims a compact version of the console called Wii Mini is coming December 7, and will be packaged with a sensor bar, Wii Nunchuk, and Wii Remote Plus and jacket.

The apparent source of the information is ‘an internal release schedule from a major retailer’, although NintendoWorldReport offers no further details.

Nintendo’s response to the rumour: “Nintendo doesn’t comment on rumour and speculation.” If we hear anything different, we'll update the story.

That's cool. I guess. I mean, it's got to be better than the previous 'remodel'. Y'know, the one that was fundamentally still a Wii, just without the GameCube bit. I can't imagine the Wii being any smaller though without getting dangerously close to "microscopic" territory. TamagotchWii?

So this is going to be a....Wee Wii? That's pretty obscene for Nintendo! Ah, that was truly awful.
