Microsoft's Major Nelson (aka Larry Hryb) may have had his tongue firmly in cheek when he told HipHopGamer that Sony are welcome to license Xbox Live for use on PlayStation 3, but it's probably true. It would actually make for a wonderful gaming experience as 360 and PS3 players face off in the likes of Modern Warfare 2. 

All Sony would need to do is pay a fee, like a franchisee. Then they could forget about all that bothersome 'free PSN' malarkey. Potentially, it's just a phone call away...

    I would love this...if it is still free. Maybe you have to pay for the Xbox Live part, and not the PSN things.

    I think it would be cool but imagine the trash talk in an MW2 match between the PS3ers and Xboxers. And if there was any lag, the ps3 fanboys would just blame it on the 360 lol. could be very interesting though if they did it

    im with the second one, ps3 dash just looks boring anyway! It would be epic though if they were both on the same system so PS3ers could play with Xboxers!

    i prefer not, thats means i have to pay to play online on PSN the main reason why i bought a PS3....

    first first ever, but any way, i think that if xbl would work on the ps3 like it did on the 360 then it could be a very good thing, cs cmon, who really uses the ps3 home?

    methinks they're both pretty awesome personally, but the first looks a lil bland.....sort of like the current PS3 dash. To it's defense however, there are also no themes applied as there are in the 360 mock-up.
