This is what Doctor Who's 50th anniversary episode was supposed to look like

If you're a Doctor Who fan, there's a good chance you know that when Steven Moffat was developing the 50th anniversary special The Day of the Doctor, the showrunner approached Christopher Eccleston (who played the ninth Doctor) about returning for the episode. Doctor Who will return with a Christmas special in December 2016. Season 10 is expected to air in 2017.
