What is Assassin's Creed: Rising Phoenix?

All Games Beta has posted what appears to be an image for an unannounced Ubisoft project titled Assassin's Creed: Rising Phoenix.

Labelled for “internal use only”, the mysterious image bears the name of the publisher’s digital cinema creation studio, Ubisoft Digital Arts.

Assuming the image is genuine, it’s unclear whether it relates to a game, a film-based project or some other sort of series spin-off, but we’ve asked Ubisoft for comment and will update this story if we hear back.

Ubisoft is rumoured to be working on a new Assassin's Creed Vita game for release later this year. Earlier this month, the publisher officially revealed Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag for PC, current and next-gen consoles.

yeah, you fight Zombie Desmond. You play as Seamus Kenway, a Paleo-Canaanite ancestor of the assassin bloodline who stabbed the Krall in their hrangos.

Based on the upside down Abstergo triangle, it has something to do with Erudito, which played a large roll in Liberation. My money is on a Vita game. Liberation was a great game with good sequel potential. Hopefully, this is it.
