Week of Hate

  • LEGOMatrix - April 27, 2012 4:45 p.m.

In keeping with the week's spirit: I hated this article! I admit, I love the idea, and the photoshops are really well done, but they get kind of samey after... ooh, the second one? You should have invented some special DLC for the games, or special edition gifts, like Duke Nukem morning after pills or a personalised answer phone message from Ryu Hyabusa. I give this article 3/10. Had some good ideas, but lacked ambition. Could have been contender for article of the year with a little more thought!

This comment was well executed and raised valid and thought provoking points. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this comment and I feel like it really made an impact on me as a comment reader. Truly the comment equivalent of journey. I give it a 10/10 you'll love -reading this comment -laughing at this comment -surpasses other comments of its genre you'll hate -the comment ends -having to wait for the next in the series of comments by lego matrix -being confused by what LEGOMatrix's profile picture actually is

I can answer that last one. LEGOMatrix's profile picture is a .jpg

Thank you for epically avoiding the question.

This review is so bias, obviously took a pay off. btw im pretty sure that is one of the robo-squids from the Matrix but made out of LEGOs (get it)?

Definitely betting on, but not willing to confirm, tentacle porn
  • ZidaneAlcor - April 27, 2012 4:34 p.m.

Really? RE:ORC, Ninja Gaiden 3, and X-Men Destiny? Huh... I must not have been paying attention and missed the reviews. It's sort of a surprise that they were received so poorly. I thought they had decent potential (though I'm not SO surprised about NG3, what with the lack of blood, gore, and interesting weapons). It's a good thing I saw this before a whim got the better of me and I bought one of them. Thanks for saving my money GR!

I love this! Please do this again for next year's Week of Hate, or even for the Anti-Awards.
  • KA87 - April 27, 2012 4:08 p.m.

LOL. Can you do this for all major releases? Have a nice day and great work!!!!
  • robotdickens - April 27, 2012 4 p.m.

Thank you for this. I would love it if video games had to put these on the cover for horrible games. Never again would I buy another terrible game again.
  • Matt Hughes - April 27, 2012 3:11 p.m.

    Great work Cheryll!
  • ncurry2 - April 27, 2012 3:07 p.m.

I love GR. Is it ironic that the week of hate brings out the most love? Perhaps.
  • TaserLime - April 27, 2012 2:56 p.m.

so did cheryll get unfired or is this her just doing freelance?
  • GamesRadarCheryll - April 28, 2012 2:58 a.m.

Freelance. :) (And I wasn't fired, I was laid off. Big difference.)
  • J-Fid - April 27, 2012 2:46 p.m.

This is why GamesRadar is great, 10/10
  • GR HollanderCooper - April 27, 2012 1:50 p.m.

    This is my favorite thing.
  • joemama - April 27, 2012 1:40 p.m.

Thats awsome wish you could buy a copy of duke like that
  • bboyd - April 27, 2012 1:26 p.m.

I'm almost convinced that every game should be forced into packaging like this. It's more honest, at least.
  • BladedFalcon - April 27, 2012 1:18 p.m.

    Oh man, nice work Cheryll!

For being 12 years of hype and delays and promises only to deliver a mediocre title, yea it was.
