Singer Explores the Dark Side of Superheroes
Bryan Singer is produce a film adaptation of the Rob Liefeld comic book Capeshooters for Warner Brothers, reports Variety . The plot concerns two slackers who become paparazzi that specialise in shooting covert videos of superheroes. Apparently Singer wants to darker side of superheroes.

Could Mr Krueger be making another comeback? According to The Hollywood Reporter New Line (now a division of Warner Bros) has hired veteran scribe Wesley Strick to pen the relaunch of the A Nightmare on Elm Street series. Apparently, he new project will "keep the high school setting and delve deeper in the psychology of nightmares and Krueger himself. The plan is to have a dark tone. The company hopes to have the movie ready for the 25th anniversary of the original." Wesley Strick has worked on Cape Fear, Arachnophobia and Mission: Impossible II.
