Way of the Samurai 4 video preview

The Way of the Samurai series has always been about player choice, and in Way of the Samurai 4, the emphasis remains unchanged. The concept attempts to nudge players into multiple playthroughs, choosing different paths until they see the full story from every perspective. We had a chance to jump back into feudal Japan, wield our katana sword and walk the path of a lone Samurai forced to choose between warring factions. Watch the game in action in the video below.

Way of the Samurai 4 will be available on the PlayStation Network as a downloadable title later this year.

Certainly looks fun, I don't think I've played a game with cinky torture before.

I hope this series never dies. I've played to death every single entry ever since I happened upon the first game one day at a Fry's Electronics. The gentleman doing the preview sounds painfully like he's reading from a script, but ignoring that, ERMAHGERD WOTS 4. This cannot release soon enough. The waiting is killing me.

That was meant to be "Same shit" not "shit shit"

I could not disagree more, Way of the samurai is one of the most unique series out there and for them to stop making them would be a tragedy. What they do with freedom and choices is beyond anything out there, how is it not "advanced" You got people buying Call of Duty yearly playing the shit shit and you bitch about this unique niche title and call for its demise - straight ridiculous. This was way more of a rant than it was meant to be....

Dear God... I used to be the biggest player of this IP, then I realized I was deluding myself to believe that they were ever going to do anything different and more advanced. Please, just let it die....
