Watch this No Man's Sky Survive video and meet the robo-voice that says you're dying

No Man's Sky will be a pretty lonely game, but at least you'll have a robotic voice shrieking about depleting shield levels to keep your company. The latest trailer from Sony and developer Hello Games shows you what it will take to survive in a huge, cold, irradiated universe.

The moral of the story is you should listen to your suit when it starts complaining. At least if things get too rough you can always scamper back into your spaceship and hope the next planet is a little more hospitable. Or less poisonous, anyway.

Make sure you catch the Explore, Fight, and Trade videos for a well-rounded look at what makes No Man's Sky tick. The game itself will hit PS4 on August 9 in the US and August 10 in the UK.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
