Your mind's reeling at this point. You're nauseous from so many twists and turns. You're overwhelmed and confused. But you don't even know the ending yet.
Make that endings. The "good" conclusion can only be reached by rescuing every Little Sister in the game. Walk the path of righteousness and you will escape from Rapture, taking the Little Sisters with you. They'll grow up. You'll watch them graduate, watch them marry and, when you're old and dying, they'll be at your bedside. You've finally found your family. Awww. Have your heart warmed below:
Of course, being heartless and cynical bastards who refuse to start our mornings without a strong steaming cup of Little Girl Soul, we didn't get that ending. Here's what happens if you give into your dark side:
No, we don't understand it either. Thankfully, the rest of the game is much better presented than that. In fact, as you might have read in our review, it's a flat-out masterpiece. Seriously, buy BioShock. Play it. Knowing the secrets is no substitute for experiencing the mind-blowing greatness for yourself.
