Video playthrough: Ninja Gaiden 3 single player gameplay with developer commentary

We'd seen the new, more worldly Ninja Gaiden before, as demos for Ninja Gaiden 3 earlier this year saw star Ryu Hayabusa cutting his way through London. Now we've seen a whole new stage, as the deadly ninja explores a desert village in the Middle East. Developer Peter Garza takes us through the stage with new insight and details on the early 2012 title. Join us won't you?

I still think its really weird that he's cutting them to bits and yet there are no body parts falling off. Why would they not include that in the game? And hopefully there's an option to turn off that big ol' X right in the middle of the screen every time you want to cut through someone. Smart people should be able to recognize when the camera shifts to signify, "You need to push X again to cut this dude in half".

Has anyone else noticed that when developers are asked questions they start their response with "So..." seems like I hear that all the time and heard it a lot in this video. Also, bring back the FAP!

Please don't tell me they changed the name of FAP to "Video playthrough".

Good job Henry. Was more interested with the interview than the gameplay.

THIS IS CALLED A FAP. WHY U DESTROY MY GAMZ RAIDAR? Also, this game looks terrible. How near is it to the end of its development?

Good video. Makes me want to go back and play the first 2.

Haven't played NG since the original XBOX, but this has piqued my interest. There aren't a lot of 3rd-person action games on the 360, and this looks pretty damn cool. I'll just have to remember to pick up some extra controllers, for the inevitable paroxysms of rage when I get killed by some nigh-indestructible sodomy demon for the 50th time in a row.

Oh damn, this brings back memories...
