If you were even a tiny bit worried that the latest Guitar Hero will be anything other than another hard-rocking, solo-busting, finger-tapping experience you can rest easy.
Watch the first trailer of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, set partly to Tenacious D’s "The Metal," and all those worries will quickly slide away. Improved visuals and new modes of gameplay make it inevitable that we'll be holding our guitars aloft all over again when it’s released for Xbox 360, PS2 and Wii in October.
The trailer also confirms some of the tracks that will be included in the game and in case you missed them, here they are.
"Welcome to the Jungle" - Guns N' Roses'
"Rock and Roll All Nite" - Kiss
"Paint it Black" - Rolling Stones
"Even Flow" - Pearl Jam
"Knights of Cydonia" - Muse
"Cult of Personality" - Living Colour
"Sabotage" - Beastie Boys
"School's Out" - Alice Cooper
"Cherub rock" - The Smashing Pumpkins
"My Name is Jonas" - Weezer
"Rock You Like a Hurricane" - The Scorpions
