Yes, Universal is prepping a third
movie, which will apparently reimagine the crime drama for modern times in the same way Brian De Palma's film reflected its '80s era.
One link to that 1983 remake is producer Martin Bregman, who will serve as producer on the new film.
According to reports, the new
is in the very early stages. But having already seen the American crime thriller played out with Chicago gangsters in 1932 and then coke-fuelled Cubans, it'll be interesting to see where it heads next.
