An Uncharted 4 PS4 is coming this April, and it's beautiful

Remember last week when everyone got sad about the amazing Dark Souls 3 PS4 being a Japanese exclusive? Probably not, but that's what handily placed links are for. Anyway, time to dab those red raw vision-spheres dry because the west is getting a console that's as good, if not better: a limited edition PlayStation 4 themed on Nathan Drake.

While the Dark Souls machine customised the HDD bay cover alone, this 500Gb grey-blue beauty features Drake all over. It's embossed with the Uncharted logo and the phrase 'Sic Parvis Magna' – Latin for 'Greatness from small beginnings', from Nate's signature ring – in gold and comes with a DualShock 4 in the same colour.

The one minor downside is that while the Dark Souls machine comes packaged with additional treats such as the soundtrack, Drake's edition features Uncharted 4: A Thief's End to play on it and no further extras. Although it could have been worse. Free copy of Knack, anyone?

Can't afford the console but still want the controller? You'll be able to buy one, and/or an identically coloured wireless headset, from early March.

The Limited Edition Uncharted 4 PlayStation 4 bundle goes on sale in the US on 26 April, mainland Europe on 27 April and in the UK on 29 April. Sony says pre-orders will be available shortly.

I'm GamesRadar's sports editor, and obsessed with NFL, WWE, MLB, AEW, and occasionally things that don't have a three-letter acronym – such as Chvrches, Bill Bryson, and Streets Of Rage 4. (All the Streets Of Rage games, actually.) Even after three decades I still have a soft spot for Euro Boss on the Amstrad CPC 464+.
