Uncharted 2 Treasure Guide

Chapter 17 - 'Mountaineering'

54). Tibetan Ritual Blade: Once you've swung over the first gap and slid/climbed down the ladder, head to the edge of the cliff to find the blade hidden in the snow.

55). Clay Deity Head: After picking up the rope near the tent, swing to your right and jump off towards the ledge at the back of the room where the treasure is waiting.

56). Bronze Chenrezig Statue: As you're climbing all the way around the ice wall with the hand holds, climb up the ledge afterwards and drop down the other side for the statue.

57). Skull Cap Drum: Run into the freezing water towards the end of the mini-waterfall and take a right at the end to find a hidden path which leads to the next piece of treasure.

58). Silver Needle Case: As you're jumping over the gap (that has the small river below), grab the needle case from the snow before dropping down the other side.

59). Bronze Stupa Ornament: There's a hidden cave on the upper level that's opposite the small river/waterfall that you ran in previously. Jump across the ledge to reach the treasure in the snow.

Chapter 18 - 'Heart of Ice'

60).  The third rotating drum that you have to climb across holds the next item for your collection, it's sitting under the wooden panel at the back of the drum facing the exit.

61). Dipa Oil Lamp: When you reach the part with the rope near the cogs in the tower, adjust your swing into the wall on your right and you'll be able to collect the lamp with ease.

62). Tibetan Flint Lighter: At the bottom of the large 'cog tower' are two horizontal cogs at the bottom. Hand off the edge of the uppermost one and underneath the walkway is the lighter.

63). Bronze Dorje: At the part with the cogs over the icy water, head up the tall vertical cog and climb onto the wooden rafters in the roof. Jump across over to the cave at the far-right of the room for the treasure.

64). Tibetan Ceremonial Axe:  Dead easy to miss this one, once you've swung off the pole - near the cogs by the water - to the ledge, look right and shoot the axe out of the statues eye before trying to collect it.

65). Trigram Thogchag: Once you've crossed the main path that rises out of the water, zoom up to the tip of the tall statue and shoot the treasure down to your feet and collect it.

Chapter 19 - 'The Siege'

66). Amber Skull Bead: Opposite the first machine gun turret you meet is a hut with hay on its roof. Climb up here and the Amber Skull is sitting on the ground beside the hay.

67). Antique Ghau: Once you've climbed up the two sets of ladders onto the roof (you'll be behind a blue fence), jump off the building to your left and the treasure is near the wall/tree.

68). Bell Thogchag: You'll reach a part with several grenade launching henchmen beside a small lookout tower, head into this tower (it's by a red fence) and pick up your treasure.

Chapter 20 - 'Cat and Mouse'

69: Yak Horn Carving: Near the start of the level you'll head up a long set of wooden stairs (that has a bad guy at the top), just after it is an AK47 by a table, the carving is on the ground by this table.

70). Bronze Tsongkhapa Statue: Once you've reached the part where the tank blows the wall behind you, leaving you on a narrow walkway, the statue can be found on the ground to your left (with the main path heading right).

71). Tibetan Trumpet: After your tank + ledge meeting, you're supposed to jump over a gap by the house, instead, drop down  and collect the trumpet in the middle of the ground.

72). Gilt Tara Statue: Leave the tank alone until you reach the end of the level (where you go up onto the roof of a house). Drop down the left side of the house and - quickly! - jump up to the ledge that holds the treasure (before you're torn to shreds by the tank).

continuing for heirloom1 about his jak and daxter comment, have you noticed that in jak and daxter 1 those black haired furry monsters look similar to the costumes the shangila native put on to scare off people? both great series, cant wait for uncharted 3 drakes deception.

  • mix123 - January 19, 2010 2:46 p.m.

just a side note on treasure 72 Gilt Tara Statue there is an easier way to do it whilst avoiding the tanks fire all together, jump across to the roof opposite from the roof above on the roof you have just jumped to there is a whole in the flooring dropping you directly above the treasure

  • Akai - December 27, 2009 8:45 p.m.

i have to agree with Ga1l0w... not as detailed... i keep getting lost, or missing it because i try to keep up with the order... as you told zelran, you probably didnt have enough sleep, specially the chapter "monastery", or as you wrote "monetary"... i cant find 78, and most of the "reunion" chapter... (85-88) can you help me with more detailed location on those treasures? the rest were no problem, and i have them thanks to you :) great help

  • stupidmistakes - November 6, 2009 1:35 p.m.

Awesome -- thanks for yet another poorly written 100% item guide. Your "team" always puts together half-ass attempts with video IMPOSSIBLE to control (get a new video player for Christ's sake). Despite comments almost three weeks old about the order of the treasures, the fucking guide is still not fixed. Just pathetic...
