Battlefield 1943 - Wake Island

Particles, particles, particles! The essential experience of playing Battlefield 1943 is particles flying everywhere. Even the telephone pole (at 1:07) shatters into oblivion when a tank runs into it. You know what else disintegrates on contact? Those obnoxious pull quotes that don’t actually say anything: “Incredible standout moments!” Wow. I bet this game also has items to equip that can be used.

Battlestations: Pacific - Kamikaze mode

OK, one more while we’re on WWII. Somehow, the impact of Kamikaze is not as visceral in a videogame, when you know a respawn is what awaits you in the great beyond.

InFamous - Empire City

This trailer should be called: tryin’ to make a dollar out of 15 cents. Props to the team that put it together, they make the game look like a 10 all the way. If it actually reviews that well, we’ll eat our hat.

SwampRock, seriously dude did you even watch the damn trailer? What the hell is "clunky" looking about the controls? The way he moves and attacks is exactly the opposite of clunky, it's one of the main reasons it looks so damn good because it looks so smooth. How the hell can controls even look "clunky" when you weren't controlling it? Also they look realistic, which is the HUGE problem prototype has in my oppinion, none of that games moves or scenes for that matter even look real, if you want to call that "stylized" then fine, but I call it looking like crap, and just plain messy. Sorry for spazzing out lol , but damn man watch the trailer at least.

Infamous looks like total crap. The controls look clunky as opposed to prototype where all the actions look stylized and smooth, whereas this trailer, I get the impression of Niko bellic for some reason. And the action looks quite sparse for infamous

The InFamous trailer was badass. Remided me of Force Unleashed, which is just as badass as this. Battlestations could be a bit better on the selling point though. Looking forward to Bad Company 2, which will be so sweeeeet.

Battlestations confuses me. Isn't the point of most games to stay ALIVE? Historical accuracy is good and all, but I don't see flying a kamikaze mission as a good selling point. I can kill myself in plenty of other, and most likely better, games.

They've really made an awesome trailer for infamous but if I'm gonna get the new version of the (last succesful incarnation) Crackdown idea, I'll be heading for Prototype.

Speaking as somebody who owns a PS3, I think the inFamous trailer looks pretty bland. The combat looks really uninspired. Other trailers showcase the urban explorer aspect, which makes the game look much more appealing. Face it.. The combat isn't going to be inFamous' strong point.

what the fuck is the point of the Kamikazi game? i dont know if its just me, but does that seem REALLY un-patriotic or what? and when you do run into an American boat, what the fuck is that accomplishing? also, that Infamous trailer does look amazing, is there something that games radar is holding out on us for what the gameplay is like? cuz i thought it looked bad ass

Man, I can't wait for InFamous! I don't know how you guys can't be anything but completely psyched about InFamous! That trailer is just like all the other InFamous trailers, friggen Awesome! As for prototype, good luck to all of you who buy it, but sorry looks like complete junk to me, if you have a PS3 I think you should at least do yourselves the favor of getting InFamous, the game is 10 times what protocrap is....see what I did there kids? lol Anyways nice article, but I personally don't see InFamous fitting in to the trailer trash section myself.
