The launch trailer for Assassin's Creed has all the hallmarks of a Hollywood blockbuster preview, down to the subtle sound flourishes and the playing in fast forward then suddenly shifting to slowmo at the most dramatic moment possible.
Words with rays of light streaming out from behind them complete the cinematic touches. Luckily for Creed, the game is gorgeous and lives up to the silver-screen evocations of the marketing propaganda.
