Assassin's Creed
A group of hooded figures (Illuminati? Templars?) sit around a candlelit table discussing how to stop the assassin who’s disrupting their evil schemes. We’d humbly suggest that meeting in a more well-lit venue might help. Like the assassin, actual gameplay footage is hiding somewhere in the shadows. Our guess is that Creed’s lukewarm reception at E3 has given Altair cold feet, so Ubi’s banking on mood and style to sell the game. In any case, by the end of the meeting one of the conspirators is silently assassinated as a single white feather flutters down from heaven. Suddenly we’re watching Forrest Gump: “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know when you’re going to get a knife between the ribs.”
