The Top 10 Best Source Filmmaker videos so far

7) ZombiU Crossover

Creator: Wheelman9000

Why It's Great: We fully admit that it may just be the freeze-frame animation, and the emotional song that won us over on this particular video. It all just works so well together. The freeze-frame style allows the creator to cram tons of detail into the scene without having to spend two weeks animating everything. There's also something wonderfully epic about the TF2 team holding off a zombie onslaught.

Our Favorite Part: The Demoman's look of horror as his hat gets away.

8) A TF2 Minute

Creator: GMM

Why It's Great: The creator manages to slow down the action, and really capture each character's personality in the heat of battle. We're used to seeing their personalities shine in the Meet the Team videos, but rarely is it seen during gameplay. None of it would have been so impactful if not for the perfectly chosen soundtrack though.

Our Favorite Part: Watching the Red Team charge out of their base in slow motion. So epic.

Nah, Practical Problems was easily the best. That was something you'd see before a feature length Pixar flick.

Open the box and the talent falls out - "...makes it harder for the rest!"

I personally loved this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHeipUKdRWE It was just an edit of the provided Meet the Heavy, but I thought it was hilarious.

Practical Problems should be much higher. Really gets the TF2 atmosphere right.

It's not really in any particular order, though I did save my favorites for the last page.

I thought about this one, but opted not to put it on the list. For one it's already really popular, so it's kind of a waste to put it on there, as I really wanted to introduce people to more vids. .dmx has probably 20x the views of any of the others. Also it's so incomplete. I'm OK with short vids, but something like Sniper Mariachi is still a complete piece despite being only 7 seconds long. DMX ends out of nowhere. If they ever finish it, I wouldn't be surprised if we did an entire post just to spotlight that amazing piece of work.

No Dictator? Seriously, type in Dictator in youtube and you will get an awesome experience. You might think the video is kind of stupid but it plays off of the quote so well.
