Tony Lee and Dan Boultwood announced for the Weekender

Two of Britain’s top comic book creators join in the festivities in Camber Sands

First up: Mr Tony Lee, one of the UK’s most respected comic writers and New York Times Bestselling List Graphic Novelist. A man who has dazzled readers on both sides of the pond with his work on X-Men , Spider-Man , Doctor Who and for 2000AD . Lee’s also well known for his graphic novel adaptations of Pride And Prejudice And Zombies and a series of Anthony Horowitz novels, which he collaborated on with upcoming artist Dan Boultwood. Together the pair founded The Manor Club Productions, creating The Gloom , serialised on MTV from January, Agent Mom , co-created with Stargate Universe 's Alaina Huffman and serialised on MTV from February, The Baker Street Irregulars , a set of four books from Franklin Watts in May and Danger Academy , a new series from Kickstart, also out in May.

Tony and Dan will be running a workshop and signing on the Forbidden Planet stand at the Weekender, while Tony will also be participating in a panel discussion.
