Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas review

  • Team-based anything in multiplayer
  • Executing a perfectly planned attack
  • A sparkling, saturated virtual Vegas
  • The generic non-Vegas levels
  • Save points are few and far, far between
  • Unmemorable characters and story

Graphics, gameplay, atmosphere, all-important multiplayer... Rainbow Six Vegas gets pretty much everything right. It even shines on the little details, like wind whistling through a freshly shattered window or jackpot coins spilling out onto a freshly bagged terrorist.

But the game's greatest feat is adding strategy to the first person shooter and getting the player - whether working alone or with others - to occasionally stop, forget about the gun and just think. You'll be amazed at how well it works and at how good it feels.

Awesome kickass game. Graphics, gameplay, story line, multiplayer and more. This was the first game i played on a friends 360 and i fell in love with the game. I wish the 2nd one was as good. I've enjoyed myself with countless hours of multiplayer games long after the story mode was over. good job Ubisoft and Tom Clancy. i give it an overall 10/10

I finally went out and ot Rainbow six Vegas. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!! It is the worst Tom Clancy game I have ever played. The game play and graphics are good, but Michale is the most useless character I have ever seen. He can't hit a fish in a barrel, and when I did finally get done with the data hub, after oh, 50 tries, I tossed a grenade in the hallway at the end of the cat walk, and he ran rite in after it. Now I understand that there's only so much you can do and a game, but come on, at least gimme some descent back up. I expected alot more, and I am sorely disappointing. I'd give it a 9.5 on game play and graphics, but as far as the team members, -1000. I'll stick with Ghost Recon, at leat I don't have to worry about useless team mates in that game.
