Thrillville: Off the Rails is expanding onto six platforms. In addition to PS2 and PSP, the game will also be available on Xbox 360, PC, Wii and DS. These new systems provide some new bonuses. On Xbox 360, the load times between park sections has been eliminated and you can gaze straight from one into another, creating a more unified Disney World resort feel. Each minigame will even have its own Xbox Live leaderboard. The Wii edition, on the other hands, enjoys more immersive coaster building and minigame controls. The DS version is being handled by a separate developer and will feature a different story, but we've been assured the spirit of Thrillville will remain intact.
So is Thrillville: Off the Rails really just for kids? We're not so sure. The wild imagination on display - and at your control - is something that could easily appeal to any age. Now if they'd just take away those passengers' pesky parachutes, maybe everyone would get on board.
