101 things we want added to Star Wars: The Old Republic

67. Multi-person mounts. It’s never too early to go green, you guys.

68. Mounted combat! Wasn’t the entire battle of Hoth just one giant mounted-combat PvP battle?

69. Better dances, with each race’s sex getting their own. No, we don’t know what the dances should be.

70. Alright, we know one: Cyborgs should do the robot.

Above: So many choices... why make us actually choose?

71. Multiple skill builds to switch between. Making alts is cool, but not making alts of the same class. Let us have two or three different builds so we can experience different takes on the same class without needing to completely respec.

72. Capture the Hutt Flag.

73. King of the Hutt Hill.

74. Team Huttmatch.

75. A PvP mode that’s essentially Defense of the Ancients. So, Dehutt of the Huttcients or whatever.

76. Huttball uniforms. In real life, not just in the game. Like, we want to order one from Amazon.

77. PvP Hutt Arena for 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 team fights.

78. Professional Huttball teams.

79. Huttball-specific titles. Like Professional Huttball player or Huttball fan.

Above: We're fans of Huttball, by the way

80. A new class: Huttball player. It should be an entire class based around Huttball.

81. Voting for MVP should show up somewhere, in some way. Right now it’s hard to know if you’ve won or not.

82. Being able to view and select the target of your target. This was amazing in Rift, and makes healing much easier.

83. We should be able to dismember our ship robot.

84. Holiday events! Sure, it just launched, but that doesn't mean we should be able to celebrate different real-world holidays inside of the game.

85. Automatic matchmaking for Flashpoints. Just about every other MMO has this and it always makes things easier.

86. A better looking-for-group system. Someone at BioWare should just load up Dungeons & Dragons Online and steal theirs.

87. Allow players to convert their leftover commendations into Warzone badges so that they don’t just… sit there.

88. Achievements! Person Achievements, Guild Achievements. All of the Achievements!

Above: Learn more about the speeders and you'll see why we want them improved

89. A speed boost feature for rank 3 mounts.

90. Customizable mounts with item slots.

91. “Last logged in xxxx” indicator for guilds and friends. We want the AWOL scum out of our guilds, because…

92. Guild quests and guild perks. A weekly “Win 100 Warzones” or “Kill 2000 droids” mission that everyone in the guild helps out with would be swell.

93. Larger guild cap for popular guilds. Like ours. We’re totally popular.

94. More PvP zones that work better, with more capturable bases.

95. Add Ons, for those of us who like to customize things even more.

96. More corruption features. We want a new arm when we dabble in the Dark Side.

Above: He doesn't look evil enough yet

97. Light Side corruption for Sith of some kind. Maybe a glow, or bright blue eyes, or a tail or whatever.

98. Server transfer option for our friends who were lame and didn’t feel like waiting in a three-hour queue to play with us.

99. Bigger body types. We want a Hutt-sized Sith carebear...that shoots lightning.

100. Smaller body types. Like Yoda.

101. The ability to play Star Wars: Galaxies from our ship. The entire game. Please. Before the crappy update. Thanks.

Free to play would be awesome (and would certainly win me over, I loved the beta), but if they lowered the price and threw in the trophies (bounties, lightsabers, holotags for the trooper?) display on the ship, then that might just make me give in and buy it. Now though, 45 quid and another 18 every two months is just far too much for me.
  • OddWoN ER - February 6, 2012 10:21 p.m.

how about a free to play version? i love star wars and liked SWG before the update, but i just cant afford to pay the dough to play year round. gimmme a low-cost version that doesnt force me to drop dough to have any fun with it... praying Battlefront 3 isn't dead...
  • Thundercleese - February 5, 2012 11:42 a.m.

Can I get a Travis Touchdown skin for my jedi?
  • yonderTheGreat - February 5, 2012 3:58 a.m.

You had me at "The ability to play Star Wars: Galaxies from our ship. The entire game. Please. Before the crappy update." I love you even more now. RIP pre-CU SWG. /cry

Too much reading for me, especially a game I genuinely don't care about.
  • yonderTheGreat - February 5, 2012 3:59 a.m.

You cared enough to click the link *AND* to post a comment.
  • talleyXIV - February 6, 2012 1:35 p.m.

I would have read it if it wasn't three pages long. I genuinely don't care about the game but would have read a short article on it. What is up with the emphasizing of *AND* by the way?
  • Mcan50 - February 7, 2012 6:18 a.m.

His emphasis of "AND" is because he is simply pointing out that for someone that does not care about this game, you took time out of your busy internetting schedule to actually: 1. Click on the link to read this story, about a game that you do not care about. AND... 2. Then took even more time to click on reply and type a message... twice no less.
  • Unoriginal - February 4, 2012 10:46 a.m.

Mabey this is just a hunch but I get the feeling Cooper really likes Huttball. Don't quote me on that though.
  • PhantomDave - February 4, 2012 6:59 a.m.

The lekku issue is one I made my brain hurt for a long time knowing they just ditched hoods all together rather than fix the bug from beta. And I have something to add to the list concerning lekku....remember the lekku language from Galaxies that only Twi'lek could understand? That was awesome...
  • Sjoeki - February 4, 2012 3:53 a.m.

I'm affraid to keep reading as I'm fearing Jar Jar might pop up
  • GR HollanderCooper - February 4, 2012 12:23 a.m.

    103. Team Fortress hats.
  • 435 - February 8, 2012 1:39 a.m.

This. Also the server transfer and all the cosmetic stuff ever.
  • oldschoolgamer - February 3, 2012 6:37 p.m.

Reading this I'd almost laugh if it didnt want to make me cry. I just wonder how the two games people can't stop talking about.. tor, and skyrim are such kings. One is lacking just about everything SWG had, and the other a decent sandbox called skyrim, which when compaired to SWG's sandbox, it's like comparing an easy-bake oven to a profesional kitchen.. Yet noone played it, cause it got NGE'd, and noone ever gave it a second chance. Even then it was still one of the best MMO's ever made.
  • Shazamin - February 3, 2012 6:49 p.m.

I'm guessing you just read IGN's "Seven ways to expand Skyrim" article they posted up a little bit ago. Honestly Skyrim is cool, if not a tad bit overrated (like alot of games are), and SW:TOR is nothing to write home about. Both games just came around in a time when people wanted new MMO's & RPG's to play, even though neither revolutionized anything in the gaming universe.
  • Soxknight1127 - February 3, 2012 6:30 p.m.

i'd settle for not making the jedi guardian feel like a pansy.
  • BazyLastard - February 3, 2012 5:46 p.m.

50 was my favorite. Great list though.
  • CameronPoe - February 3, 2012 4:27 p.m.

I remember playing SWG during the CHANGE.. Never forget.
  • timothygridley - February 3, 2012 4:07 p.m.

    24. Non-mechanical mounts! We want to ride Star Wars’ wildlife. Mounting animals like dewbacks, tauntauns, and GUNGANS would be awesome. I know this whole list is mainly a flight of fancy as well as a wish list but the whole mounting gungans would just be plain awkward. Making one of JarJar's ancestors give me a piggyback ride would be amusing but probably not very fast. Not to mention just plain silly looking for either faction.
  • RedHarlow - February 3, 2012 2:43 p.m.

So basically all the good features of Pre-NGE Star Wars Galaxies.
