3. Burger King (Sneak King; Big Bumpin; Pocketbike Racer)
Marketing departments must think they know us pretty well. In their minds, "videogame player" apparently equals "unhealthy slob who consumes nothing but soda, snack chips and candy bars." Oh yeah, and fast food. A lot of fast food.
What else can explain the strange merge of product and game that are the new Burger King titles? Give the designers credit - they're definitely creative. Giant mascots smashing each other with bumper cars... a drive-thru worker challenging a man in a chicken suit to a bicycle race... a freaky plastic-headed monarch creeping up behind people and surprising them with omelet sandwiches.
But don't be fooled by the hip bizarreness or ultra-cheap price - you're still paying Burger King an extra $4 to go home and play a Burger King commercial. And it'll take you more than the usual 30 seconds to realize you're being scammed. Sure, we'll have as much fun as the next person giving these out to our friends as joke gifts, but let's not pretend they're actual games.
