Any semblance of marketing subtlety that remained after the Snickers Mice From Mars, Inc rode out of town will now be unceremoniously dropped. We've reached the true criminals, the games where the term "product placement" no longer applies because the entire game is an advertisement.
Offenders include the likes of Chester Cheetah: Too Cool To Fool and Chester Cheetah: Wild Wild Quest, wherein you use the crunchy power of Cheetos brand snack food to find the legendary Hip City. Because nothing's hipper than getting orange cheese thumbprints all over your controller.
Afterwards, quench your thirst for synergetic advertainment - and more characters wearing totally fab '80s shades - with the 7-Up sponsored Spot, Cool Spot or Spot Goes To Hollywood. Swimming through carbonated water and high fructose corn syrup has never been this fun… or refreshing! There was also a game starring Domino's annoying Noid character, but we can't be bothered to remember what it was about. We can only recall that it was worth playing for 30 minutes or less.
