The Sims 3: Late Night coming this fall

EA's first announcement at today's big press conference was Late Night, a new expansion for The Sims 3. The add-on explores the lives of night owls, adding new jobs like "musician" and "celebrity," partying, penthouse lofts, and other nighttimey stuff like that. No word on a night club douchebag simulation system.

Late Night is coming this fall, and it looks something like this:

bethseda and EA should get together to make a sims fallout.it would be cool. you customize your sim with bos armor or raider clothes and build them a house with a certain amout of scrap metal they give you at the beginning of the game, then you get your sims a job as a raider, mirelark hunter or join the brotherhood of steel. and keep your sims from dying of hunger, radiation and wetting them selves

I agree with jackald, everyone i know who plays sims, me included, only cares about making sims, buliding houses then seeing how much mayhem they can cause. They should drop the extra crap and just add loads more building options. Personally i feel that sims 2 had, in some ways, more diversity in building than 3! (BRING BACK THE SPIRAL STAIRS!!!)

I see skimpy clothing and hot tubs. Yup, that's accurate.

Does this help me re-enact a forced labour camp? No? Then I'm not interested. When will The Sims pander to what people ACTUALLY DO IN IT. Nobody I know plays the sims the way it's meant to be played, they just try and get someone to sleep with as many sims as possible, steal everything, or kill people in gruesome ways. Or live out death camps, like me.

All those Sims add-ons always seemed kind of dumb to me. I guess it's just that I've never really gotten deep into the Sims.
