The best celebrity Dubsmashes - from thrown phones to wrecking balls

Here's your quick guide to Dubsmash if you've not seen it before: it's an app that lets you record short videos of yourself miming to songs, and movie scenes.

That's it, pretty much. Oh, except that celebrities love it. By the looks of these videos it's all actors seem to do when they're not filming - they film themselves. If it wasn't so glorious I'd say it was a problem.

The Westworld cast RULE Dubsmash

The cast of Westworld Dubsmashed so much during the filming of the series that Dubsmash itself collected it all together in this glorious video. Not only do Evan Rachel Wood, Jimmi Simpson and Ben Barnes look like they're constantly having fun, they are the masters at finding great clips and songs to use.

Tom Hardy is always a surpise

Tom Hardy's a bit of a hip hop fan at heart but that doesn't stop him posting a few lighter dubsmashes. With Uzis, obviously, because he's Tom Hardy.

The Star Trek: Beyond cast clearly love their job (mainly for the dubsmashes)

The Star Trek Beyond cast developed a serious Dubsmash addiction while filming, and sent them all to a wrong number. A mix up meant they had an old phone for Karl Urban, so that for an entire weekend they were sending their efforts to a landscape gardener in LA.

Game of Throne's Maisie Williams gets so excited Dubsmashing that she sometimes throws her phone

Game of Thrones' Maisie isn't the most prolific Dubsmasher, but she is the most enthusiastic, accidentally hurling her phone across her room mid-smash. If you wanted a celebrity-flavoured phone-eyed view of being dropped, here you go.

The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter casts went to war on Dubsmash

The Agent Carter and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. casts went to war on Dubsmash for charity, raising ten of thousands of dollars and giving us a vision of Agent Coulson on a wrecking ball that won't be forgotten in a hurry.

The X-Men Apocalypse cast activate the only mode they know how to in Dubsmash: Beast mode

You have to wonder how long it took someone to put Beast Mode the song and Beast the mutant together?  Did it pop into someone's head out of chance or was there a marketing meetup to plan out some social media ideas when the lightbulb went off? Either way it totally works.
