The Revolution is over

But no matter your opinion, it certainly is different. And that's the point, like it or hate it. Wii is a simple, easily remembered name that stands completely apart from tech-centric titles like PlayStation and Xbox. Plus, anyone else hate the name Dreamcast when it was announced? Yeah, we thought so. Grew on you, didn't it?

In true Nintendo fashion, the name drop was all that was announced today. Other than adding our two cents in all the internet rumors (the separate nunchaku attachment may also be motion-sensitive), there's nothing else Wii can do but wait. That’s right. Wii - if you're afraid of more horrendous puns, you should probably just stay offline for the next few months. The summer's gonna be ripe with 'em.

Nintendo will fully reveal its Wii at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in less than two weeks.
