Metal Gear Acid 2
By Konami | Out March 28, 2006
A card-based, strategic Metal Gear game was always going to be a shock, but weirdness seemed better than another basic PS2 to PSP port. That said, Acid didn't exactly deal itself a full house, but this sequel addresses much. It's less restricted and more playable thanks to a redesigned interface and a pile of new moves, while the switch to colorful cel-shading really stands out. A mad-crazy, 3D-effect 'Solid Eye' peripheral can only help.
WHY'S IT ESSENTIAL?
Acid was a great idea unevenly implemented; Acid 2 should just be great.
