2) Put your Vista disc in your CD drive, and setup will start. Pick a language, enter your product key and you’re away. Click Custom Install, then select the hard drive you want to install to. If it’s brand new, you’ll be asked about formatting it: agree, and select the maximum size when asked. If it’s got existing stuff on it, relax: you can install without formatting.
