The most memorable minigames ever

  Shooting Galleries
From:
Thrillville
Unlock: Not needed
Mini-rating: 8/10
A minigame that’s actually quite faithful to Thrillville’s DIY theme-park setting: a spin on the pop-gun sideshow shootouts you’ll perhaps have enjoyed back when, before the internet, fairgrounds used to matter.

  Seduction
From:
Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy
Unlock: Not needed
Mini-rating: 6/10
A bit like Guitar Hero - except success yields the ‘ol rumpo, not calloused forefingers. Lukas can get his ex into the sack for one last canoodle, if he plucks the guitar strings well enough.

  Starmine
From:
Fantavision
Unlock: Collect tokens
Mini-rating: 6/10
Fantasvision turned fireworks into a dazzling puzzle. The best bit? Starmine. Every firework is of the same color, allowing you to link up insane, screen-popping combos of glittering explosives.

  3D Insanity
From:
Flipnic
Unlock: Side missions
Mini-rating: 7/10
A gaggle of eye-popping mini-missions that take your flippers into 3D. Navigate tunnels pocked with bouncers, or hit selections of morphing shapes that float in the middle of space.

  PDA Game
From:
Alien Hominid
Unlock: Not needed
Mini-rating: 8/10
A sweet, sweet extra: a platforming bonanza with stylishly scrawled looks, hundreds of levels, four-player support and even a stage editing option. Marvelous.

  Quark Vid-comics
From:
Ratchet & Clank 3
Unlock: Play through game
Mini-rating: 8/10
Ratchet often packs the slickest minigames in the business, and these Vid-Comics took the blundering Captain Quark to a whole new universe: 2D platforming. Brilliant stuff.

Uhm... where is Super Turbo Turkey Puncher from Doom 3? That was an example of some of fantastic and not-at-all repetitive gameplay.

I was surprise some of the ones from the Jak and Daxter series weren't here. Along with the ones in Zelda and the zombie game in CoD 5.
