The most memorable minigames ever

  Innocent Sin
Persona 3
Unlock: Reach April 29, in-game
Mini-rating: 1/10
Persona 3 does RPGing much differently than most. Innocent Sin is a MMORPG that you can spend your free time playing. But you don’t actually play it as much as explore character relationships.

  Chat-up Lines
Leisure Suit Larry
Unlock: Not needed
Mini-rating: 6/10
Conversations with girls in Larry are handled by guiding a sperm (hoo hoo!) through a river of choices, each one changing the strength and direction of your chat-up lines in real-time.

  Cat Racing
TimeSplitters: Future Perfect
Unlock: Not needed
Mini-rating: 6/10
If you’re going to have a set of time-trial challenges involving a stuffed cat on wheels, the question of realistic handling must never come up. Just as well, given how badly they steer.

  Ragdoll Olympics
Flatout 2
Unlock: Not needed
Mini-rating: 8/10
Take crash test dumbasses for a ride, in a series of sporting events - basketball, poker, high jump, curling, and more - that use the driver launched from a crashed car as your ‘athlete’.

  Paw Prints
Unlock: Not needed
Mini-rating: 5/10
These button-bashing minigames are hardly clever. But their placement is - they offer some distraction during loading screens, and even some tokens of reward if you put the effort in.

Mercury Meltdown Remix
Unlock: Collect bonus tokens
Mini-rating: 7/10
Your glob of mercury has to stay on a circular, lumpy platform, while an increasingly powerful fan shifts about trying to blow it off. A brief and tough dose of silly physics.

Uhm... where is Super Turbo Turkey Puncher from Doom 3? That was an example of some of fantastic and not-at-all repetitive gameplay.

I was surprise some of the ones from the Jak and Daxter series weren't here. Along with the ones in Zelda and the zombie game in CoD 5.
