The most memorable minigames ever

  Puyo Pop
Sega Superstars
Unlock: Not needed
Mini-rating: 8/10
The Puyo Pop game managed to distract you from feeling as daft as you looked. An EyeToy game, using your arms, you’d control spills of Puyo Pop berries, waving about like a karate alarm clock.

  Reckless Cyclist
From: Mr. Moskeeto
Unlock: Rotate right stick 30 times at title screen
Mini-rating: 6/10
Some minigames are just so pointless you’ve no choice but to give them a whirl. Atop a great pillar of rock two cyclists charge, attempting to bash the other off the edge. And, um, that’s it.

From: Forbidden Siren 2
Unlock: Obtain file #79
Mini-rating: 5/10
Not quite as titillating as dyslexics might have hoped - this misleadingly-titled game is a bizarre block-sliding puzzler. And, no, we’ve not much idea what’s going on, either.

  Wee Hand
From: Jackass
Unlock: Play through game
Mini-rating: 8/10
Remember that scene in Aliens? With the knife and Bishop’s bionic reflexes? Do it on poor Wee Man’s hand. Time your stabs as the knife goes back and forth across his knuckles... ouch.

  Monkey Target
From: Super Monkey Ball Deluxe
Unlock: Not needed
Mini-rating: 9/10
None of SMB’s multiplayer modes are as compulsive, intuitive and long-lasting as the glider-based Monkey Target. Monkey Bowl does come a very close second, though.

Pool Paradise
Unlock: Buy from shop
Mini-rating: 9/10
Ah, darts. Not something you’d expect from a pool game on a tropical island, but it’s brilliant, and apes the analogue-stick goodness of the pool itself.  Murderously competitive.

Uhm... where is Super Turbo Turkey Puncher from Doom 3? That was an example of some of fantastic and not-at-all repetitive gameplay.

I was surprise some of the ones from the Jak and Daxter series weren't here. Along with the ones in Zelda and the zombie game in CoD 5.
