The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Everything that makes this franchise glow, packed into one game

Words: on November 21, 2006

Even with a handful of complaints, it's impossible to give Twilight Princess anything but our highest recommendation. As the best game in a series that routinely puts out game-of-the-year caliber stuff, this is one journey you simply must play. It may not be a catchall game for Wii like Wii Sports or even Excite Truck, but longtime gamers and lifelong Nintendo fans can proudly stand in line, awaiting one of the most stirring, rewarding gaming experiences in history.

$20 now on the Nintendo Selects label. Can't beat that. I picked it up yesterday and will play it when done with 3DS Ocarina of Time. This is literally the first Wii game I bought in years, I think the last was No More Heroes, which I never even finished. Reading this review made me realize how old this Zelda is, and how old I am. :'(

dude, this game is SICK, although the z-targeting kind of tones down the experience for me. i tried to go through the whole game without using it, and died in the battle with the flaming goron XD
