Another lacklustre British bridal romcom

The last of a spate of lacklustre British bridal romcoms released this season, this chirpy but surprisingly laugh-light tale of a disaster-strewn wedding is nothing if not predictable.

A good job none of us have ever seen Bridesmaids or The Hangover though, or the scenes of bridal diarrhoea, doofus groomsmen and miserable maids-of-honour might not seem fresh...

Even the presence of Talulah Riley as the bride-in-two-minds, alongside co-writer/producer/actor Noel Clarke’s affable usher, can’t stop this underpowered union from feeling like a laddish BBC3 sitcom that got lucky.
