The Hobbit gets a new Dwarf-heavy poster

The Hobbit has continued its recent publicity push with a brand new poster featuring a full complement of Dwarves, clocking in at 13 in total.

We don't know what the collective noun is for dwarves, but there are a lot of them. Ginger ones, grey ones, handsome ones… you name it, they've got it covered.

Aiden Turner and Richard Armitage appear to have come off particularly well in the prosthetics stakes, their chiselled cheekbones appearing unfettered by any ungainly plastic bulges or excessively braided hairpieces.

While most of the promotional material so far has felt as though it was nodding back to the original trilogy, this is the first piece that feels unique to The Hobbit , and it's a welcome introduction to the newcomers in this series of prequels.

Directed by Peter Jackson and starring Martin Freeman, Ian McKellen and Andy Serkis, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey opens in the UK on 14 December 2012. In the meantime, you can check out the full poster, below...
