I love Serah and Snow as a couple. Makes me cry so much :)

So glad you guys included Link and Midna. I really thought their connection was amazing even though they never quite make it to "couples" status.

I agree with Flaminnija and conman93 I would also like to nominate Wander and Mono from Shadow Of The Colossus. Mono was sacrificed because she was foreseen to have a cursed destiny, so Wander asks for the help of Dormin, a god who can supposedly bring people back from the dead. So Wander kills 16 Colossi (the smallest of which being the size of a minivan, and the biggest being nearly 100,000 times bigger than he is) in order for Dormin to perform the ritual to resurrect Mono, only for Dormin to turn out to be some evil demon sealed away and kept sealed by the 16 colossi Wander just killed. So dormin keeps his part of the bargain and resurrects Mono and possesses Wander, only for some shaman to "kill" wander to seal away Dormin again. (Wander doesn't actually die, but he is reborn as a horned baby) I cried at the end :)

Needs more Ness + Paula, and I think Link had a more dramatic relationship with Marin in Link's Awakening. But its still a very good list.

uuuhhh what about Commander Sheperd and Tali. Yes I know you could have picked like 20 other ppl but theres an actual relationship there. And plus she's one of the only people from your past squad who doesnt hate you.

@noobeater right there with you bro....been waiting for a sequel since I finished the first one....sadly it doesn't look like Ubi's in the mode to give it another shot....

What about fem Shep and Kaidan? That's a good example of a good video game relationship. And how about Joanna Dark and Johnathan Steinberg? Both of the Perfect Dark games showed there was something between them and the books & comic series showed it on a deeper level. Sure, they haven't really admitted it or done anything (that we know of) but they have something together.

flaminninja. i agree, i talked to elika alot so the ending of game like that had me stumped sure i wanted to save her despite plunging the world into darkness and evil but i wanted to know what happens next...OH GOD I NEED A SEQUAL

Reborn kusabi. good for you, you watched family guy and ripped the joke straight off it. get the fuck out of my sight. I think Dragon age: Origins has interesting development in character love, i went for morrigen who at the start appeared evil and mysterous, but opens up to be caring and emotional side. I also agree with the midna one, it was hard notto care for her midgame onwards

Not only is Final Fantasy X my favourite FF game (My opinion is you like the one that gets you into the series the most), but one of my all time favourites. The story between Yuna and Tidus is so beatuifly developed that by the end of the game you feel empty that they are forced to part ways for the greater good...unless you wait till after the credits that is...

Kyle Katarn & Jan Ors from Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast!
  • Amnesiac - February 15, 2010 2:44 a.m.

I'M CALLING YOU OUT GR. (By which I mean I'm going to nitpick.) You say that Zelda and Link only share one implied kiss at the end of Zelda 2, but at the end of Oracle of Seasons/Ages, if you use a code from the other game and beat Ganon, Zelda quite clearly kisses Link in front of everyone. /zeldanerd

So are you comparing Sands of Time's very charming relationship between Prince and Farah, with soulless Master Chief and a hologram? LOL
