That's looking good. Judging from the looks of it, I'd say this is before they've had the chance to flesh out the textures for some of the environments. Looks aside, really good. Also, can anyone tell me what the heck those jagged rock Pikmin things are that are following Olimar? What good is a rock Pikmin?
Also, I've seen some unholy, demonic, and downright cruel things that only exist to destroy in Pikmin games before, OH HOLY JESUS is that moth thing terrifying. The absolute worst thing about the vicious creatures in Pikmin games - which only seems to exacerbate their usual propensity for merciless violence and unthinking murder - is that sometimes at first glance, the creature in question appears cute, adorable even. But then you approach a bit closer, and the nature of its being makes itself abundantly clear... when it's unveiled a new and horrifying way for your Pikmin to meet their demise. Worse still is how the games will continue to come up with disturbing (sometimes just wholly sadistic) levels to which creatures will go to senselessly massacre your faithful plant men... some ways of which even defy logic or simple animalistic intention. Sure, plenty of creatures are content to devour them, but some are clearly made and designed to make you cringe at how swiftly and brutally your adventures can end. Pikmin games are great like that.
