    Last week I was sceptical about what they could add to the original. Now next year cannot come quickly enough. I want to play on e of my favourite games in infinite depth :D hopefully the battle ai is a massive improvement though.

    I've been hoping for this announcement for ages but I wish they had delayed it now the end of 2013 is so far away and IGN said it's been in development for 8 months so I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't until well into 2014 till we see this. Rome is still my favourite Total War and I hope they keep the unit variety they had where each faction was largely made up of unique units, I didn't like the sameness between factions that Empire and Shogun had.
