      I'm sure there was some footage of a rebooted streets of rage a few months back. Didn't really gather anything from the footage but it is a series I'd love to see return somehow. The warriors released by rockstar on ps2 was the nearest to a 'modern' streets of rage game I felt.

      You can unlock the first boss as a playable character, all you have to do is hold attack after you beat him once the black screen with the score comes on you can let go of attack. To select him you have to die he is shown as a "?" when selecting your new character. Also to get Roo all you have to do is beat his "friend" with out finishing off Roo. These both work on the Xbox versions

      Streets of Rage 2 is still the best 16bit beat-em-up of all time. SOR 3 was just poor in my opinion. The visuals/animations were not as smooth and crisp as it's predecessor, and the music was horrendous. Still, a nice slice of retro gaming, and worth playing to the end to witness the finale of a classic series.

      I just finished my first play through of this last night, it's great! David is spot on about the dialogue having that funny, comfortable conversational tone that I expect from Double Fine. In terms of gameplay, it actually reminds me a lot of Lost Vikings, where you juggle three characters with different abilities simultaneously to get to the next area.
