      The real challenge in Combo Nation is chaining a whole level in a single combo - I Think that once you look in Splatter-TV or in the leader board clips and get some inspiration from professional players, it might change the way you feel about this game. personally i also love Master Shots - but the advanced levels in Nation are combining skills that are identical to ones in Master shots with the combo counter pushing you to do them fast enough one after the other so the combo doesn't end.

      This game had so much potential, but because it wasn't coming out at the time of Kinect release (in fact, quite a bit of time later), I sold my Kinect (and made money too o_O weird). I now read this review, even though it's positive, it still just doesn't look like that good of a game. Maybe for a bargain bin game, but 40(?) bucks for a mediocre Kinect game that was basically supposed to be THE game that made the Kinect worthy - This isn't good enough...Even on its own, a small compilation of 'decent' mini-games doesn't add up to something worthwhile if it costs more than 10-15 bucks.

      You actually do have the option of just roaming around and going wherever you want. If you go to "Explore" on the main menu and choose a region, choose a course to run, at the bottom of the screen, it should tell you that if you press a certain button, you will be able to just roam around on the game. It says "free ride" or something like that.

      An embarassment of a game from EA. Worst part is, it almost took them ten years to "refine" this game. The most unexusable part is their use of the word "Explore". It's not part of this game in the traditional sense...ie, you cannot just wander about doing what you want (as in Amped). What they mean by "explore" is still limited to two different styles of boarding: racing or tricking. No explore mode of any kind here. Why did it take them so long to put this game out?

      Well, it IS a pretty damn fun game. I don't have a problem with them making it as available as possible in most platforms. I mean, it's not like they are releasing a new version every 6 months, just putting them on more platforms.

      And? I love Team Fortress 2 (hell, I got 47 hours of playtime of it on Steam), and I also love this game. It feels like Team Fortress, but at the same time it has a progression system TF2 doesn't have, and the gadgets add something new to it.

      Who decides what games you guys review? There are some titles I expect you guys to review that you don't, Neverdead for example... and then you come out with reviews like this. Nobody wants this, well I can't say that for sure, but I'm pretty sure most of the readers at GR are more likely to read a review of a seemingly interesting Konami game rather than what I would consider an app for Kinect.

      I went and paid for the original WHY, now? Seriously, if it was DLC, that would kinda tick me off, because it would make me think they released a game without finishing it, for full price, only to charge more in steps later for the completed game. THIS though, just kinda seemed like a big ol' middle finger to me. "Oh! You bought the original game? Guess what! Now we're releasing a NEW game that's basically the same thing, but with 12 new characters that you don't have access to unless you fork over even MORE money!" Yeah, yeah, I know that's not exactly the case, and maybe I'm overreacting to it, but seriously, not even a year later, and this happens? It just feels wrong to me, like they're taking advantage of the consumers.

      Jose Enrique in a fake Newcastle shirt says it all for me really. I can handle fake master league players and even the fake kits, to a point, but seeing they haven't put him in the Liverpool squad when the transfer happened months ago makes me feel like they don't give a sh*t. Also I think, FIFA, although much improved from the day's when PES was king, is still not the full package. Its single player mode lacks depth and little details like stadiums, crowds, and weather really matter to football fans. So here's what I want. A football game that has the depth of Football Manager, the licenses of FIFA, the best game-play elements of both PES and FIFA and the attention to detail that PES has. Don't tell me they can't do it, because if I'd just listed all the things I'd want in a Batman game before Arkham City, you'd have probably said they can't do that either AND when the devs tell you that they "couldn't do this or that" because of time/hardware restrictions don't believe them, because they're just saving those little extras for next years instalment. I used to love football games but now I just think they're one of the biggest scams in gaming. I'm never buying one again! thank you, I need a cigarette
