      This makes me glad I have the PC version of the game. I'll probably spend most of my time just messing about in my own creations and finding ways to entertain myself for hours long before I actually get serious about making and sharing things.

It will be nice to be able to throw together custom maps with relative ease. Valve, you've done it yet again. I can't wait to see more of their good ideas.

This is cute and all, nothing against it, but I find it amusing that an amazing award winning game at full price costs less than an inflatable piece of plastic related to it. Keep on being awesome Valve.

From neither Steven Merchant or Ellen McLain!??? *Does not compute* Seriously, I love the Joker, and his performance was great, but I actually found him to be better in Asylum. And considering it's the voices of both Glados and Wheatley that carry most of the story, drama and fun of the story in Portal 2, I'm seriously surprised they haven't won much love in that department, both actors deserve better.

      Chell saying "Yes!" at the end would have been a great ending, that is if it happened after the chosen ending for the game. As in, Chell exited Aperture out of the elevator, the Companion Cube gets ejected out, and she just says "Yes!". That would have been a very powerful ending.

      I don't think such an ending would be fitting. To me, the delightful intrigue of Portal 2 ending is that (a part of) Chell probably does not want to leave GLaDOS after all. Firstly, GLaDOS just saved her life. Secondly, having spent so much time with GLaDOS and having gone through a great deal of turbulent stuff together, Chell must have developed a significant degree of attachment to the deviant AI creature (and it's not just Stockholm syndrome here). Then you have all those Caroline connections to boot... The ending you're suggesting would ruin all these intricacies, ambiguity and intrigue, imo. Portal is more sophisticated and subtle than that.

      Might have to go with "Portal 2" for Best Game on this one, although the competition it's going up against makes the decision unnervingly difficult to confirm, lol. I'd be fine if AC takes it as well, though. I personally believe they were both pretty deserving, alongside the likes of "Skyrim", 'ey. Whatever the case, those are all pretty logical nominations, from what I could tell; although, "FIFA 12" for Best Game and the lack of "The Witcher 2" for Story is quite disappointing, but other than those few blemishes, I'm more or less content with the overall package. :-P Here's to the nominees! May the best (wo)man win! ;P

      Voted for Skyward Sword! But these are all great games here that deserve the award. The field is tricky tho: Battlefield 3 and COD will hurt each others votes, Portal 2 and Minecraft should vie for a similar audience, Uncharted 3 and Batman probably share part of the same crowd too. Skyrim could take it, but there might be enough fans pissed off on how broken the game has been to stave off a win. LA Noir and Fifa are outside chances, but never count out the world's love for soccer. And of course every Nintendo/Zelda fanboy (myself included) are gunna hammer this thing for a Skyward Sword victory.

      I don't see why CoD being popular in a fan vote is surprising. It is one of the most popular series ever put out and has millions of devoted fans. This is the BAFTA Audience Award, not the Most innovative game of the year competition.
