Well I will be damned! I was one of those original people that bitched about this publicly and stated emphatically I would NOT buy another UBISoft product if or until they changed this policy.
Looks like I can now look at future UBISoft products if this is indeed true.

Now isn't that just nice... when I start venturing into PC gaming this happens :)

looks good, if it's reasonably priced then this will be very hard to resist a buy from me because it has got me all nostalgic for star wars battlefront 2's space battles. Also I was rather confused when I thought he said that they took inspiration from x-men vs tie fighter, now that is a game I want to see happen.

That's weird.
It released fine in NZ, for 49.95 USD.
What's even weirder is that the game was set to release here on the 22nd, and unlocked for me at what would have been midnight in Aussie, as with many Aus/NZ region steam games.
My guess is the 49.95 price point is a mistake, and the game is down while they try to stick people with the 90 USD slap in the face.
But that wouldn't explain the game's NZ availability.

Well it's on Steam for pre-purchase in Australia although War for Cybertron locked on Steam in Australia. It makes complete sense. Our PCs are upside down and are powered by kangaroos, drop-bears and memories of Steve Irwin. If it's taken down from Steam, hooray for importing from the UK which is cheaper anyway. I would say though that with the higher costs for games in Australia (which no-one has yet provided a viable explanation for), Australian PC gamers are far higher in number for pirating games and therefore making new releases less profitable. Either that or Activision sucks ass

It doesn't matter if it sets their computers on fire and melts them into poo, if it comes out on a console PC gamers are going to complain it's been dumbed down, now and forever.

I played through this with the 1.7 patch a few months ago and really enjoyed it. I had already finished the game multiple times on both PC and xbox and the mod is a definite improvement especially in the last few hours of the game.

From what I've seen that was cut from KOTOR 2, the content would've been on par or better than the story elements in KOTOR1. It drove me crazy knowing some of the great parts that were cut due to time. I really hate this love-hate relationship with Obsidian.

Were you planning on playing splitscreen on your computer...ever? Why are you just now deciding which version you'll get? You should have known there wouldn't be any local coop on PC because, well, its a PC.

This looks pretty cool, so I'll have to give it a shot. I haven't tried Beat Hazard, but I might just skip it and go for Symphony.
Also, cheers for the Futurama reference. :D

I just have like a normal HP desktop with no decked out features on it like graphics cards or anything and I play tons of games on Steam with no problem.
It is just like an office computer and it plays games really well.
PC gaming isn't that expensive especially with things like Steam existing.

I saw a GTA Bundle for $12... Holy shit.
GTA
GTA 2
GTA 3
GTA Vice City
GTA San Andreas
GTA 4
Episodes from Liberty City
If I hadn't played all of them, I would have bought that bundle like 6 times because it is such a ridiculous deal.

I bought it during summer '11's sale, and I own 3 and up, but on console. The PC versions with things like add your own music to the radio, and an insane amount of mods, made the experience feel fresh again. And they look way better on PC.
