I don't need 5 reasons to wait, just the one. Zelda. Until I see some pearly screenshots of that pointy eared gimp in HD its a no go!! Also interested to see how they will do a Mario Kart game with the Gamepad. I don't wanna be using the touchscreen to be flicking items with a hand that should be steering or pushing down the acceleration! A pixelated driver could crash!

If I ever got a WiiU my friends would have to bring their own stuff as I'm not shelling out an extra $150 for a gamepad. I assume the people who are going to buy the WiiU already have a Wii so Wiimote/Nunchuck could easily be cut in half or all together. WiiU pro controller is another thing though. I'll think of possibly getting one once it goes through a round or so of price cuts.

If I were to get a Wii U, I'd figure that the premium console, 2 game pads, 4 wiimotes and chucks would be enough to be fun, that's what I feel I would use the most if I bought it, and I'll say this now, Sony for life (for me), but Jesus Christ, $730+ for all that! Lather some butter on my ass and call me biscuit! That's crazy, is never spend $700 for a updated current gen console, cause in reality that's what it is, My PS3 still looks better than a WiiU (graphically and physically) and PS3 games are hitting close to their peak, and then I'll have a next gen Sony console within a few years thatll blow Nintendo out of the water, Nintendo fanboys, I'm not stopping you from buying one, but to me that's crazy, just doesn't seem worth it IMO, have fun playing current gen games for the next 6 years, I'll be busy playing borderlands 2, GTA 5, and battlefield bad company 3 for the next couple of years until some REAL next gen hardware comes out

Does it have running zombies or shambling zombies? I've always found the prospect of shambling zombies to be more frightening, because if they bunch up there's really no getting through them, and you let your guard down more if they walk slow.

This looks like it could be good however that controller just puts me off even buying a Wii. It looks horrific; the analogue sticks are in a terrible position and it is huge and clunky which means it will become very uncomfortable to hold in a short space of time. I honestly think it is one of the worst designed controllers I have ever seen, but then again Nintendo always make terrible controllers.

Like RacattackForce already said, it's more of a remake than a sequel. and it wasn't really planned either, the game used to be titled "Killer freaks from outer space" and it was a cod-like zombie engine with cartoonish dog aliens. Then they changed the project to this dead island-like game. and the game was (code) named "Zombie" before it was ZombiU. It'd seem they called it that because they simply put zombies in their Killer Freaks game and built some stuff around that. Kinda half-assed IMO. I imagine the creative process of the game was like "Uhhh, so we wanna make a game for this new console, any ideas?" "Well uhhhh, Call Of Duty is pretty popular." "Oh yeah, so we'll make something like that, but it can't be an exact clone." "Hmm... what else is popular, what theme" "2012, the world ending, the apocalpse" "Yeah let's make this game with the world ending. but how will it end?" "Duhhhh, aliens?" "Great, let's do that." then that flunked, so they switched to zombies. Keeping the same 'run towards to the camera' coding and all that. So yeah, this game IMO is no where near comparable to big sequels which took forever to make. It's a half-arsed cash in. Oh yes, and to all the readers giving this schmoe credit for finding the link between these two games, the creators/guys involved with the game mentioned the similarity between the two during E3 when they revealed the game.

Call of Duty is a massive cash-cow. A story which is running out of ideas, and game play which is recycled with new maps (older maps are being updated now) and newer weapons; old weapons which have new attachments. I'm not a big fan of FPS, but can some developer produce a FPS with a better story and game play, which would end the reign of COD in the military FPS market?

The grasp for resources is old before anyone knew it. {not so secret since the 80's}. The best part is the aristocracy (WOW where did they pop up from) have already carved the world up like a neo-africa cira 2016. POP. there goes the shoreline. Quarter of a million gone. Then again. Want some life. Tough. We own it. The folks who take global warming the most seriously are the elite. They know it's coming baby, paid adverts work.

they could just sell at a slight loss but I don't know if Nintendo would want to do that. It would make sense not to sell at a loss because selling at a loss only works out in the end if the uptake is good and developers pile in to develop for your console and thus pay the license fee. Nintendo made a smart move by turning a profit on the Wii consoles because it meant that they were guaranteed (at least for a while) to stay well in the black even when software sales started to dwindle. As for the Wii U, I have a sneaky suspicion that Microsoft and Sony are going to blow the lid on their next-gen consoles in a bid to say to consumers "Look how late Nintendo is to the party.. we're holding a new party soon so you better get your best frocks ready!"

"excessively pricey." The fact that they have to put that word in front of the more important word worries me. Whats below excessively pricey? Pricey. But hey, we'll know when they announce it, if at all. Mindset #1: "Why spoil the hype with a price tag? Don't look at the price, looks at these features! See this controller right here..... What? Your still nagging about the price? Don't worry about it, this controller makes it seem unimportant! Everyone knows that controllers sells systems!" Mindset #2: "Let's surprise them with a low price near launch, seal the deal, and watch them gobble this stuff up." Mindset #3:"Ummm, were not even done putting this jigsaw puzzle together yet, so were not quite sure..." Any thoughts?
