As good as this looks - and believe me, I will be buying it - it still disappoints me that the car customisation has been dropped. I know people say this every time a new NFS is released but wasn't that supposed to be the point of the series? Race the best you can, as fast as you can, in a bitchin' ass car? No?

You know, I really wish EA would stop being stupid and naming new games after their old ones. We saw this already with Hot Pursuit 2010, even though they already had Hot Pursuit and Hot Pursuit 2. So why not Hot Pursuit 3? And now Most Wanted, even though they already had a game with the title. Why not Most Wanted 2? Scared people will see your lack of creativity? Either way, I'll probably sit this one out. I'm still getting good (ahem, excuse the pun) mileage out of Hot Pursuit 2010, and I sat out on The Run. Give me a good reason to buy from you again, EA.

While I've never been excited about Need For Speed games, this one looks to be the spiritual successor to Burnout Paradise. I certainly hope Criterion has been given the freedom to merge the two to make for an exceptional arcade racer. It was the one game that caught me by off guard from E3 this year.

ThatGuyFromTV I have to say, the Takedown camera looks really out of place here, not sure why.

O ye humble and generous gods at Criterion, we beseech thee to bestoweth upon us thine holy light of arcade racing greatness forevermore. Amen. ... Man, I loved Most Wanted to death. I loved Hot Pursuit to death as well. Gee, I've probably died from so much love for games so many times that whenever I visit heaven Jesus asks me for an update on what great games he should be playing from down below before he sends me back. Jesus is a pretty religious (see what I did there?) gamer himself, but he's made me take a vow to secrecy on what his Gamertag, PSN ID, and Steam username are. You wouldn't want that info anyway. He never cheats (obviously), but too often he has help from his Dad. And that, I've heard, is the best help there is. :P
