Last time Miyamoto was allowed to make a smaller game based on his own experiences, we got Pikmin. Therefore, I'm all for this. People complain that Nintendo don't do enough new IPs these days, so it's good that they are letting Miyamoto do his thing!

I would like to see him get back to being completely hands on with his own projects. Wouldn't people love to see a Mario or Zelda designed and directed by him again. In his current role he is not able to take a project from beginning to end like he did when he was younger and didn't have to keep watch over all of the games that Nintendo was making. I hope he does get Nintendo's next line of great developers ready.
